There was a need to comfortably accommodate up to two vehicles on the driveway, but to also make a welcoming entrance to the home.

The Solution
A semi-circular area for additional parking was integrated into the driveway design.

This surrounds a circular lawn encompassed with planting borders which makes for an attractive entrance to the front garden.

The imposing conifer hedging was replaced with Ilex whips which over time will make a dense wildlife friendly hedge. A mix of evergreen shrubs, perennials and bulbs were chosen to provide seasonal interest.
A passing quote from the postman to my client was that they ‘thought we had the best drive in the street’. Who could argue with that comment?!
